Long ago, the land was plentiful, hardship came to none, and the dragons ruled the air. Looking over the land, ensuring none suffered, until a stranger came to the land. That stranger was Keil, a hunter from far off Kerellion. He took it upon himself to rouse the villagers, telling tales of a dragon from his homeland. One who terrorized, pure Black of colour and pure black of heart. This dragon burnt crops, destroyed entire cities and devoured man and cattle alike.
The villagers laughed at his stories, but some, few in number started to question. What if this dragon decided one day to do the same? These few met in secret with Keil, listening at length to his stories and dreading their future.

One night, a Darellian joined their circle. His large eye's became animated, leaning forward, he told of the old grey dragon. One who his kind had run across in their caverns one night. The villagers were quickly drawn into his web, as he wove stories of a great battle, death to many of his kind. Never mentioning that those who died, were deemed Federen (forsaken amongst his kind), sacrificed to capture this mighty creature. The attempt at capture cost his kind greatly, and once captured, they imprisoned it to learn what it was, and why it had come to their caves.
The dragon was old and tired, this Darellian didn't tell the villagers of the power of a dragon, nor how his kind had enslaved it, sending it mad. Neither did he mention the terrible deeds they made it perform for them.
The villagers muttered amongst themselves, and soon the mutterings grew, before long the few had grown to a great many. A great many scared and worried people. Before long, a plan was hatched, suggested of course by Keil. The villagers launched an attack one night, upon the lair of the dragon they knew. The glowing white dragon rose into the air, wondering all the while, what had happened to its kindly folk, those it had protected for these many years. With a powerful sweep of its wings the Dragon swept over the villagers, flying from its home of many years. It has never been seen again, some say it found a new home, some that it was grievously wounded and flew away to die, but none know for sure.
